So what are the demensions? 4' x 2' x 2'. There are some members here that believe you can keep a Jardini in a tank this size for life. I wouldn't recommend that, it is too small.

Are you looking to do a large single/pair of fish. Or looking more towards the community set up?

well, heres what i would do:

lots of big bichirs like endlis and ornates,

knifefish,

oscars,

dats,

fire eel,(maybe)

freshwater 'cuda,

some nice catfish.

EDIT: forgot to add that i didnt mean all of these fish at once, but combinations and stuff.

I would like to do 3 or 4 large fish or one "tank buster". Have gone the community route before and want to do something different

Well since cichlids are out of the question. A clown knife would get to big, maybe a Black ghost knife and a peacock eel and 7-8 silver dollars. The silver dollars only get 5" but a shoal of them is quite impressive.

How about piranha? You could do a shoal of 5 or 6 red bellies.

You could probably do a fahaka in there, you could definetly do more then one oscar though.......

2 oscars propably wouldnt work in a 4'-2', if thats wat it is.

Ok wolf fish and the red parayas are both looking really interesting to me. Possible problems/tankmates for both these fish?
