I'm talkin to a guy who has a 180 for sale tank and stand for 100 dollars. The deal isnt for sure yet there are other ppl who want to look at it. I was wondering if i could see your 180 or what you think would be good to stock it with!

what are you in to

like cichlids,piranha,oddballs

what?

that would help!!

Who cares figure that out after you pick it up !! :) If you decide it's not for you sell it for 300.00 or more :) Swoop or go to the next deal cause deals like that are gone inside of HOURS!! :)

I'm still configuring the interior and filtration....All my tanks are species tanks, meaning they only contain that certain species in that tank only(exception is the convict cichlid, for feeder purpose)....There is no "Dentist Office Tank" mixing...
For mechanical filtration, I use 2 Aqua Clear 110's...

For tanks larger than 125g, I'd suggest using a wet/dry filter for biological filtration...

The Rio 20 delivers 845 gph of current...I turn this on during the day....

Pretty much any of the MONSTER cichlids would flourish in a 180 or bigger...My Midas loved it...His nuchal hump(kok) dramatically grew when I threw him there....He would not stop "patrolling", he kept swimming and digging like there was no tomorrow...It was heaven...

If I had a 180 I garuntee I would have either a jardini or a fahaka puffer! Or if I were to go with my favorites, natives, I would go with my LMB for sure and a crappie or two!
