I believe they can, though I can’t quite make out what’s in the photo.
Could also be another hitchhiker finally showing itself.

Yes assassin snails can reproduce in captivity especially if they are well fed. They lay squarish egg sacs and the babies are tiny and the snails like to hide in the substrate.

3 itty bitty assassins. When they are a bit bigger then I will move them over to the other 5.5 gallon.
