Another Stupid "Is It Worth It" Threads

OK, so one of my LFS has some 6-6.6" WC ocels for $105. I know the price is very high (even w/ my 10% "frequent customer" discount), but it would cost me as much to order online after shipping. What would you do? I have what is probably an ocel already (only really want one), but it's very drab. I might still order a pinima and WC mono from Rapps sometime.

some would look at the price only, but i always factor in what i would have to pay for shipping if i were to order it from a vendor/importer.

for example, two popular vendors on here charge $60-80 to ship to CA. and since im stuck in the middle of nowhere, i cant really get in on group orders.

so if it were me, i would go for it if you cant find it cheaper anywhere else

ya, i think i'm probably going to do it. Even if the one I have is an ocel, it def wont look as good as a WC one. They have 2 and at this size, I should be able to get a decent one. they do have some others that are supposed to be WC, but theyre 2-2.5" and I don't wanna deal w/ that size anymore unless it's a pinima or piquiti or something rarer like that.

have u checked out snookn21 he has some nice 6" occel not sure on shipping price to u but theyre $25 each...but as for the price and size i would...but then again im in the middle of the pacific and shipping prices are outrages here

well if you think you got it bad bro... i paid 75 for mine..... so its really up to you... keeping fish as your hobby is one thing, pay alot of cash for fish is another.. combine both, and you will come out with a SMILE gauranteed...

Paul you should hold off until we talk when I come over Sat. That price is double of what I paid for my Ocells But of course the popularity is on the rise. (I wonder who started that) Hold off until we talk pimp.

I do know the Cichla fever when I see it though so if your really wanting it then go for it. JLMK which store is it that is selling them for that high of a price?
