I got screwed!

I should have called you to see if you wanted me to grab one of freddeis for you.

what orinos?

I divided the 75 and put it in one half. I think I'm going to put the tem and larger orino in with it. That way, I can make sure the smaller orino and "ocel" will get more food. I need another 40B :nilly:

here's all the pix you're getting for now:

He looks good from those pics! Nice pick up.. From what mike said, sounds like your LFS is getting in some Orinos, get ready for another trip back for those guy paul lol.

thanks. They've had WC orinos before and I've bought two from there, but he must be saying that they're getting bigger ones in

go with your gut feel bro!

edit: SWEEET OCELL!:D:D:D
thanks. If they didn't look good, I wouldn't have bought one. This one had a more complete gold ring on the caudal spot than the other, but both had nice, bright red eyes

I'm still stuck w/ the dilemna of where to put it. I'm afraid one of them will get past the divider. The 2 smaller ones definitely would be snacks. Here are my options as I see them:

1) put the smaller ocel and smaller orino in the 40B w/ the SA/CA growouts. None of them are large enough to eat any of the feeders so I won't have to worry about that. But, it's pretty well stocked right now. I won't have to increase the temp very much, either.
2) put the new ocel in the 210 and hand-feed it (or try to get it on shrimp and tilapia) or divide it off. The temp is at 82. The only fish I'm worried about having the temp at 87 is the gar (I know that's not worded correctly).
3) divide the 75 and put it w/ the 2 larger ones on one side and the smaller 2 on the other (I need to divide (or move) and start hand-feeding the smaller ocel as it's not getting enough food))

maybe, I shouldn't have bought it :D

He is very pretty,

thanks, Bruce!

I decided to do some rearranging. I moved the fish from my 125 into the 75 where the bass were (will be the permanent home for most of them) and the bass into the 125. I divided it and put this ocel, the larger orino and the tem on one side and the others on the other. I was going to do this eventually, anyway. Hopefully, they will look better (especially the smaller ocel) with the black substrate.

they seem a lot "happier" in the larger tank. the CB ocel is looking better. this one looks like it was rubbing against the driftwood...it's got a couple patches of missing scales. I'm just going to add some salt. I'll try and get some new pix really soon and make a new post.
