LOL well 2 years old would make more sense. I've heard of trops having amazing rates and can hit 26 inches in captivity. Hopefully your fish will break that record LOL.

Superworm,mealworm,earthworm/nightcrawler,pellets,shrimp,tilapia,beefheart,porkmeat,chicken meat and etc.

my biggest one is 26"+ got it at like 6".
