I'm not sure, they are acting like gator gars lately... the more trop's I add the more of a hunting pack they become. Like Velociraptors underwater.

They've killed 4 fish in the 500, none of which they were capable of eating:

10" jade Goby
10" marbled pim/tsn hybrid
Hystrix stingray
African Arowana

Looks like a gar tank it is!

Wow that sucks Madding. I removed the FL gar that took off one of my silver aros tails and now the 3 aros and 2 remaining FL gars all seem fine together. Grant it that they aren't nearly as large as yours and I don't have any tropicals. Best of luck.

Are you now going to only keep gars in the 500gallon, lets hope the dont turn on each other:screwy:
 
I still have 3 non-gar fish in the tank. They are too big for the 150. Luckily there has been no aggression against them.

Yes Steve, they killed my ray. Bit its tail 100% off. Ate the stinger too I think. This was a while ago.
