I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come across as an *******. I remember when I first began taking and posting pictures to share online, and everyone told me how great my pictures were... until this one guy who was kind enough to tell me the truth - they were horrifically blurry and off balance. The typical result from first time fish photographers.

The point is, I really thought I did a good job until I was eventually told it's terrible. I've only gotten better from there on.

Here's what I'm talking about, before and after (same fish, same crappy camera).

:iagree:
it's been pretty much the same with me.
but you could've put it in a less harsher way for him lol :D

not bad... try some different lighting :).... what kind of dslr is it?

:ROFL: haha yeah a pic where the WHOLE fish is in focus might have been a better example! but seriously, i'm sure you didn't mean it to sound they way it did. maybe try a different approach next time.

just my 2 cents;)

good luck with the photagraphy midnight. post more as you're perfecting it so we can see your progression

And just b/c you have a DSLR camera that will automatically allow you to take great pics?

If you can't see that your own pics are ****ty, then you should not be in photography.
