Looks great man! The fish are definitely putting on some size and I like what you've done with the new aquascape. Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming.
Thank you. I re-scaped the tank yesterday when I cleaned out one of the filters. I took out all the fake plants and half of the rocks. I think it looks a lot more clean and crisp now. I tried to put three 3" Convicts in there as target fish, but 12 hours later the TSN already ate one. Thanks again.
Love those Midas and the Festae. Nice collection of Amphilophus. Not a bad fish in the bunch, great set up.
Thanks guys. I should have left a couple of the more blurry pics off this list, but whatever. I'm trying to find another GT and might move the Xilo to another tank... not 100% though. I have the Bocourti in a 55g by himself... the Argentea and Bocourti need to be split up, so I might move the Argentea into the 55g and the Bocourti back in the big tank... well see. I don't want to have anymore than five cichlids. Oh, the TSN ate another of the convicts yesterday, now there is only one left... do you think Giant Danios would be better target fish or should I not even try?? Thanks again for the comments.
No more than 5? That's what I told myself too, but my tank is less than half the size of yours. I guess pending on what 5 you're looking at that could still fill up quick. Danio's might be worth a shot but at the size most of your fish are right now the danio might be a nice snack. However, they are extremely fast so they could maybe stay out of the way. If you did get em, I would get 5 or so to see if they last, but you could easily do like 10 in your big tank. Big groups look super cool! Good luck man!
