I've got a bunch of limpets in my tank, the biggest ones are about 1/4" long. Depends on the species. I think some can get about 1" or more long.

Yes, finger did hurt for a few days.
 
he about got me tonight. i was trying to fix the POS skimmer i have and i wasnt paying attention. a piece of FD krill was right next to my arm, touched my arm and i screamed...................like a girl...................not scared to admit it. you wouldve thought i got hit by a shark, lol.
 
Where did you get your live rock? Looks like it is aquacultured from Florida.
