I am from India, that's quite close to sri lanka though. Red garnet sand is used for sand blasting, so any glass and window sellers, who are accept custom designs, will know where to procure sand blasting sand, check of they are using red garnet sand.There are some people in FB from there that uses garnet sand, might want to asked them, i think
You can also use similar colored tiles, if you don't find the sand
I use the Peace River by CaribSea and it works for me. I think its because the base is not white, it is more golden. I had used another product that had more white and the polys looked bleached out.
