+1 to that. How large is the fish? If the kok is this size at like 3" I would assume it would grow to a decent size. If this fish is 5-6" I would expect more growth but nothing outragious. As stated before all about genetics.

The KOK size will depend on its own genetic, it won't go bigger with any type of food IF its just a normal or bad, low grade FH.

Im not really educated with flower horns Grades or exactly what individual traits should be looked for in a cross bred fish, but using a variety of foods in fish has always had good effects on the fish I have raised and bred (including Flower Horns) The only fish that I try not to vary types of food on are my predators such a p-bass and rays better to keep them on pellets with the odd treat from time to time. This is just my opinion.

no its not that cold temp.I think constant temp may work well on him...and s he is eating a lot.....?

Male, has kok. Grading is an opinion. I think it looks good. 3 pellets a day? That is def not right and should be fed more. BUMP UP THE TEMP and his metabolism will be better and will eat way more. Just feed him maybe 3 times the amount you are.

A flowerhorn should grow 1-2 inches per month.
