My guess would also be that you have two females. Very nice fish by the way. I'm surprised that they are laying the eggs on the sand. Mine always find a rock to lay eggs on.

Good luck finding a male severum.

You could always just get a male red devil and make your own parrots...
They are a little easier to find.

The first batch was on a rock..second was on the sand.

I have a male RD just not sure if he's mature enough yet..he paired off with my Texas.
