antibactierial eyedrops?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ciproflaxcin eyedrops, a sterile pair of tweezers are good to remove any bacteria growth covering the eyes. Vet advice recommended though.

So it has mites and a bacterial infection?

So how does a basiliks get a bacterial infection?
Dirty bathing water and all aquatic lizards are very sensitive to any kind of waste. When I kept water dragons, after a few bad experiences I did water changes EVERY DAY, is that or a very efficient filtration sistem. I would take the basilisk to see a vet, that seems serious.

Thank you for that answer.

I kept a female water dragon for a few years and she was an amazing pet. One day I will have them again.

They are owesame, try both the aussis and the greens, they are "diferent" styles of water dragons and 200% worth keeping. Basilisks, sailfin dragons, river dragons, forest dragons, horned dragons, forest chameleons and cone head lizards are amazing as well:D. What I plan to pick up some day is red head basiliscs Basiliscus galeritus ;) (now I wonder if its spelled galericus or galeritus?!)

take it to the vet. Might recommend any number of things depending on the situation... saline solution, terramycin, gentamicin etc.
