antibiotic or healing agent for imported rays help

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i have overlaoded the tank with airstones and shortened the pipe on inlet of sump so water has to fall about 3" also.Lots of air now.
ammonia burns the gills and makes it harder for them to extract air.so i added four air pumps yesterday.

salt treatment. how slow should i do this.yesterday i added about 2.5lbs to the 300 gallon system. now i think i will wait 1 or 2 days and add the rest,

or do you think its safe to add the rest today right away.I am not a expert of saltreatment, only learned of it through this website.

actually never had the need to add salt until i started importing myself last year.before that all specimens were LFS and already strong.

were these photos taken when the rays were at the importers place or when they were in your place? take a full shot of the tank so people can see the condition of the rays if those pictures don't represent the conditions they are in now...you had mentioned they have been damaged? what are the symptoms and pics to show them would help

sorry i posted it.the only way my supplier will honor them if i send picture of ray with tail cutt off. That what happens when they dont putt heat packs in.The water temperature in baggs when i received them was 5 degrees celcius.temp shock and ammonia poisoning is what killed this ray

importing isn't as easy as everyone seems to think.
Just hope that everything is okay on the next shipment.
