I don't think they're establishing a colony in your filter, but I do think you probably have a colony nearby and that's obviously their water source, lol.
I dunno, I didnt think it was a colony until the third or fourth time i was flushing it out and they started coming out with litle white specks. I guess it couldve been worse,. It wouldve been really gross if they were roaches or earwigs or ...............children.
The angel is a refugee from another tank where it was getting beat up. It was real bad - looked like a floating coin. Its much happier now I think.
I was gunna ask they same thing. Hey atleast its not your monster fish tank! Just keep at washing them out and they will eventually go away.
