Any advanced Breeding and pairing tips

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Lol same. Atleast a 1 out of 3 odds should be pretty good odds for getting a male. The others will probably get rehomed after I get a male put of the group. Lol now it's just down to playing the waiting game to grow out these lil guys from 1in to 4in.
Hopefully you can recreate him, kinda reminds of me jurrasic park lol.

Love those movies. The books were far better then the movies tho.

Lol Jr. actually got his name from a game I love to play called Skyrim. In that game there is a town with a mass murder on the lose that ya have to stop. His name is Calixto and that was the name of my first FH, he got that name for always killing his live feeders and refusing to eat them afterwards. I got Jr. About a year afterwards and rehomed Calixto shortly after that, mainly due to his poor genetics (lol definitely looked like what ya would expect from Petco), and then Jr. got the name Calixto Jr. But I just call him Jr. for the most part lol it's easier for ppl to remember.

As for recreating him idk if I would want to or not. Yeah I still love and miss him but that big kok of his caused allot of problems for him and idk if I would want that to pass down to his children. Personally I think I would rather try to recreate Star (his daughter) and see if I can improve upon it. She has these really neat orange pearls that I would love to see if I can replicate and possibly increase the amount of. I'd also love to get her with allot more red coloration to the front half and get allot brighter/more pearling. I just hope this lil juvi here turns out to be a male. He's got allot of nice bright red coloration atleast. And if that one turns out to be female I got a lil texas I wouldn't mind crossing her with to see if I can get better pearling. The first 2 pics were from when they were still in the 20g quarantine tank while the other 2 were from when they moved to the 60g grow out tank.
