any advice on Tilapia Buttikoferi?

they would have to be very large and then my 55g would def be overstocked. i think hes going to be the lone fish until i upgrade the tank
 
yeah true. it's fun raising top dogs of fish. their battles can be crazy + fun to watch
 
I have a really mellow Buttikoferi. He shares the tank with a bunch of breeding peacocks. Give him a big piece of romaine lettuce or peas every now and then...it maes their colors really pop.
 
anyone know how to tell the sex of this thing? all i keep reading is that males are bigger? ok compared to what? what is a big tilapia? i dont have much to compare it to. he is bigger than my piranhas, but smaller than one of my plecos. how big is big? i dont know how old it is or its exact size but probably 10 inches
