I have heard that red eyed croc skinks like the water but I would not consider them really aquatic. Maybe you could look into semi-aquatic amphibians like penninsula newts, paddle tail newts, fire belly toads, bull frogs, leopard frogs, etc.

Really, if you don't have any input then don't post. It's annoying, really.

I gave my input......There aren't any aquatic Lizards that fit......Sorry I didn't sugar coat it.......That gets annoying......

Unless you want to drop $500 on a Shinasaurus.......

I know of one person that has a Crocodile Tegu.......It was originally Dick Bartletts.......They are non-existant in the Trade.......Worth more as skins than live Exports.......

Anything else?......

I am not going to get into it and derail the thread but I will say that you don't have to "sugar coat" it to be polite. I know I am not the only one that has had it with your attitude. I would say a lot more but I don't wanna get banned so I will leave it at that.

When I get an extra bedroom to set up as an enclosure, I'd love to have a caiman lizard. Until then though, let's stick to 18" or less...
just search ciaman lizard before you assume.
a caiman is a croc, not a lizard.
just saying.

Dracaena= Caiman lizard, look them up, they are very cool animals

Yes, I have no interest in keeping a true crocodilian of any kind. I think they're cool, but not something I'd keep privately. As for the comment about the price of a chinese crocodile lizard, $500 isn't necessarily out of my price range. Do they stay under 18"? I know they're fairly aquatic, I just thought they got a bit bigger than that.

Underground reptiles in Florida has juvie caiman lizards for 325
