Any Bichir owners in India?

where did u get the ornates and endi from plz plz give me some information...i live in chennai and i love 2 hav thm
 
Hi Kaya,

I have 8 polys:

1. One 20"+ Endli.. Bought at ~8" at 1300
2. One ~14" Ornate..Bought at ~10" at around 1000-1200 (<-- not sure, as I got this from an friend/hobbyist)
3. One ~8" Delhezi .. bought at ~4" at around 500
4. Four Endlis and one Ornate --- bought at ~3-4" at 450 as a bulk deal (for 4 Endli's and 2 Ornate.. One Ornate didn't survive)

The most expensive ones among the commonly available species are (surprizingly) Albino Senegals, which do not appeal to me at all... I have not seen Del's for sale since I bought them about 8-9 months ago.

Endli's are, BY FAR, my favorite among this list..I think most lower-jaw species share this look..

Hence, I am on the look out for other lower-jaw species..

am from chindathripet ....dude i regularly go to kolathur to buy feeding fish for my florida gar.....you are right they do have senegals and i already have a senegal bichir he's abt 9" now... am in this hobby for 1 1/2 years and have never seen a ornate r delhzi r endi bichir here in chennai and i have asked all posible fish store in whole of chennai... and they have no clue about any bichirs i mentioned....i really love to have them though......

hi sid your polys collection is great man......and very reasonable price 2...my fav is also endli...plz upload some pics if u can :)....

Endli,delhezi,ornate are only available in mumbai and kerala .....so fellow mfk hobbyist if you find these fishes in your lfs can you please ask them whether they could courier the fishes ......r can you give me the contact no Of the shop which has them....if you can give any more information on there availability will be great....
