Funny thing is back when I was into bmx no way we could get mongoose at wal-mart.. Now my brother offered to by my nephew a new mongoose and thinks it's crap.. things change I guess..

hows it handle for you?

Let's just say I dread peddling but love drops . The bike is very heavy but has survived 2 years of abuse with very little maintenance. I have no complaints. Then again, for the price, I better not!

I have never ridden a road bike..........hybrids yes....but have never been on a true road bike...........I have been mt biking for 20+ yrs though.............I just might try a skinny tired bike though as i love speed and my all mountain rig gets heavy at times!!!!....we'll see!!
