I can honestly tell this part of the forum is extremely dead..

But, I wanted to ask my fellow bird owners, do your birds scream at night? I have a green cheek conure who makes the most bizarre noises when all the lights are out and hes covered. I just wanted to see if anyone else has this problem/issue or if I just have a broken bird lol

Nope, mine don't. They're quiet at night. But good luck if you want to sleep in, they like to start talking to themselves once the sun comes up.

TwoHedWlf TwoHedWlf See thats the best part, he never screams during the day(for the most part, bird always have their moments) but its always at night when he starts with his strange noises. I need to record them on of these days lmao

Hi yup I have birds, goffin cockatoo, greater sulpher crested cackatoo and a blue and gold macaw I get a few weeks back, at night or at sundown is common for them to be noisy, its how they keep track of there fellow flock, when you turn out the lights and cover him he has no line of site so he yells to keep in touch. birds are flock animals and feel safe knowing there flock is with them, in this case you and your family are his flock, I suspect it does not last real long, the goffin is great for being noisy ad bed time, as is the macaw. ever heard macaw really let loose its quite impressive. So question, his out of his cadge during the day, has lots of interaction time? least 4 hours a day.

love to see vid, here is a short one of my macaw, jabber.

Mine scream all fay and all night, whenever they see anyone, that's why they live outside. (Seven ducks.)
