Any number of species can do this including insects, birds, sharks, et al. I saw a truly crazy time-lapse video of a bird going from solidly frozen (where it apparently had been sitting for a few weeks) to flying away.

Nature is so crazy.

I'm convinced one year when my kiddie pool froze over that the goldfish also were frozen. Then when it thawed...they were fine.
