Lost a Venustus last night At about 3am I heard some splashing going on in the bedroom. Thought nothing of it, it's usually just the pbass going for some food. Woke up this morning to one of my Venustus laying on the bottom. I believe the Jack Dempsey beat him up, the sad thing is that the JD is about an inch smaller. I guess I should get the other one out before he dies.

It can vary, but probably around the 3.5"-4" size range. You may see other gender differences develop prior to the color transformation (such as pointed fin tips, color of anal fin, etc).
