Me, my wife and my 8 month old son adopted a American bully x boxer mix from a local shelter in December. She was leaning against the cage in the shelter when I first saw her begging to be pet. Even worse was she had already had puppies at 7 months. I instantly knew she was the nicest and most gentle dog I have ever been around.
When we brought her home, she was mostly house trained, and after a week or so we got her trained to stay off furniture and sleep in her own bed at night. Its really great knowing that if my son tries to take a toy from her, or kicks her in the face on accident, she will just sit there and take it. All she wants to do is love. Don't get me wrong, she has done her fair share of damage from being a puppy (ripped to shreds baby mattress, couple of baby toy victims)
Without further a due, Winnie!
