Any catfishies for my tank?

Hey all,

Can I put any cool looking cats in my tank? I like the Columbian shark, but don't have the tanks to convert him to a salt, and I don't want to see him die.

What about a pim cat?

I have a 55 gallon tank with 2 JDs, 2 Bristlenosed Plecos, and 6 Giant Danios. Can I do a cool looking cat or 2? Or am I fully stocked as it is?

Could add some pictus cats... I love mine... they always stay out of everyones way and you can stuff them like the big guys LOL who doesn't love a stuffed tummy on a cat fish?

I totally agree,Pictus are very active and will eat anything.You could also try a striped or spotted(my favorite)Rapheal cat,no one messes with these guys!!

pictus are 1 of my favs. you could do a few i think. have you thought about clown loaches. personally not too big on rapheals. they are nice looking but not active enough for me. atleast the ones i have seen anyway

Clown loaches get WAY to big for a 55, I would max out at the min to keep which is 3-4 pictus... they are ALOT less shy and less teritorial when you have 3 or more

they arn't picky... mine are actually usually eating shrimp pellets but I'll throw in some blood worms from time to time as well...

sounds good. This is exciting, I figured my tank is either too small or too stocked to add any =)
