Any catfishies for my tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Cuckoo cats (Synodotis petricola) would also work nicely, they are active little spotted cats that do not get as large as the pictus cats.

cuckoo catfish are from the hard, alkaline waters of lake tanganika so probly wouldnt like the ph. what is the ph? im gessing its low for bristle nose plecs.

I dunno...I have never heard of it...and I am an expert! I even breed fish! I breed guppies! >.<

Oh yea, PH is between 7.6 and 7.8 (And don't say thats 7.7)

Raphael cats look cool at the store but once you get them home, drop them in the tank and NEVER seem them again they get boring. That and when you find one the hard way by rearranging the tank and you get finned you will be wishing you had gotten the Pims,

Pims do better in schools. So 3-4 at a minimum.

As for Clown Loaches growing too big. They grow UBER slow. I have two that I bought at less than an inch long 8 years ago and are now only about 3 inches. I don't think they grew at all for the first 3-4 years I had them.

cool cool, sounds good...Looks like I will be going with the Pims then. (Thats what the GF wants anyways =p)

You do realize that you need to feed your fish for them to grow ... right?
