that or you can try walmart... i dont know how much it is for out of state but at wally world in state its $14

well it depends cause some place if your on land ur ok might wanna check the restricitions cause my work and all you can fish like off shore or piers and all so might wanna check with it all

As for lakes and shore fishing for freshwater fishing you have to have a freshwater fishing license - trust me. I had a friend who got a $75 fine for fishing off a small pond with out it. You are right though when it comes to pier fishing and fishing off an inlet (brackish water) or surf fishing - as far as I know you dont need a license unless you are in a boat/yak/canoe and not standing on shore then you need a saltwater license. I am usually pretty up to date on the regulations, but they like to change. Watch fish sizes and what you keep if you fish brackish or salt water.

Yea when i go out to my work we fish a hot water discharge from a power plant, so always great fun but also have to know the fish sizes, but good to know about the fresh water part

Yeah its def. good to know - a lot of people dont realize that about freshwater and find out with a decent fine =\

As for where you fish.. just out of curiousity how are the fish in that area, they are ok to eat? Never really fished an area like that so just kind of curious. I guess if its water discharge its was de-contaminated or it wasnt contaminated at all? (I dont know how power plants work lol)

Well im right in tampa Bay but the fish are all clean just huge, and thats an understatement truely, (cause we have caught 45 inch snook, and reds well in the 30s, but we have caught sea trout, snook reds, mangrove snapper, and others all legal and my buddy has ate most and he says they are the best hes had, ) thats about one plus with my job, is only about 100 people or so can fish the hot water discharge

Its just salt water that sucked thru and runs thru the side of the plant never touches anything and than flows out the other side of the plant never gets clost to anything harmful

ooh ok cool, sounds like a good fishing spot then. I ve only fished skyway over that way. Didnt catch anything big though. I would like to take my kayak out there - the bf and I just finished getting them fishing ready =]
