Any cheap-o's reduce your aquarium temps over the winter?

I keep my tanks at a constant temp. year round. Unless a heater breaks.

i havbe 3 tanks in my basment all running on a few 300watt heaters, you aint seen a bill untill youve seen a canadian bill in the winter for cost of keeping tanks above 79

I don't use heaters in my 450 or 180g tanks. Summer time temps are 80-84 winter temps are 78-82.

ROFLCOPTERS! My house drops to about 50 in the winter on a cold day here. Even in summer we only break 80 for a week or two. Without heaters I'd be all native and coldwater!

in summer we get 100+ averge for weeks and weeks on end.during winter we get sub zero weeks and weeks.

my basement during the winter with the heat on gets in the 50s
