most celidos top out about 10", 14" would be huge, Vittata do get huge, this is NOT the biggest one we caught.

Man that thing is awesome looking.

Lots of centrals, no festae yet, no xanthic jags

Largest celido I have seen (nature) was 25cm., and the largest vittata was 45cm.

lol, just because metric makes more sense doesn't mean we should adopt it.

The celido sounds like a nice size to keep with most cichlids and looks nice too. Might have to get one if you come back with a group that's for sale. Any idea on aggression on either.

Everyone says celidos are agressive, but I have not had any problem with mine, I keep 3 with 4 minuanos and they just hang at the front of the tank wanting food, great thing about Uruguay pikes, they will all eat pellets.
