Another way to trigger spawning too is to do a big water change and drop the water temp a couple degrees cooler than the temp of the water in the tank.

sweet just did a water change and she is looken busy, also took some thinks out

Frozen brine is fine, live is better only because it will stay in the water line longer while frozen just sinks to the bottom so more of the live stuff is consumed.

I alway went with Hikari Cichlid Gold... both the red bag and the green one... can't really go wrong with Hikari... and blood worms are great too.. At least that's what i used when i had CA/SA Cichlids
