Any Dexter fans?!?!?

First of all I'm totally addicted to the show, I own all the seasons. BUT Holy cow! I just watched the last episode of season 4.... Man! I was not expecting that at all! Poor Rita. Any premonitions for season 5?

Only show I watch. No way Rita did that to herself. So sad, I think Dexter was hallucinating or something. That was pretty disturbing. There has to be more to that.

Hmm, so I finally had time to watch the final episode and something isn't making sense...

Rita was racing home to get her ID she left behind?? She took a taxi when leaving, she didn't take a taxi back? It would taken her just a minute to grab the ID, they wouldn't wait or wonder why she didn't come back?

Anyone else notice this?

Maybe the Taxi Driver was Trinity...she didn't know what he looked like

That was one of Trinity's trademark kill's..kill the girl in the bathtub...I think that either Dexter was hallucinating or Rita is still alive...barely...no way they can write her out of the script..she is a big part of the show...

But if it was Trinity, then I think he would have killed the child as well. It's not like he has compassion for children. He's killed them before. To take out both Rita & the baby would have been a double blow to Dex. I think he was hallucinating as he often does.

Except that Trinity may have known how Dexter came to be....."a child born from blood"...and left the kid there to be found in a pool of blood.....just like Dexter was....it will be interesting to find out...can't wait.

If she really is dead, one of the major time flaws is that she was alive long enough to see the moon. She phoned Dexter to tell him to watch the moon as it was beautiful that night. Dexter climbed into Trinity's car trunk prior to him picking up the car during the day time though, so he would have noticed if Trinity stopped long enough to kill her, especially at his own home.

Plus the bathtub scene was hazy, like when he sees Harry. Not to mention the fact that the baby didn't cry until the phone rang even though Dex tripped on toys when coming into the house. Any child would have been screaming his head off if he was sitting in a darkened room alone and he would have been rolling around in the blood, not just sitting there.
