Any experience with this power filter?

Hey everybody here, just introduced myself today. Its great to be here and learning from all you pros! I have a quick question though. I believe this is in the correct forum/sub-forum...anyway, I was wondering if anybody has any experience with the Penn Plax Cascade 300 Power Filter? It seems to be a great deal but I was wondering if it will hold up over the years?

I'm on a tight budget right now so I was looking at getting two of these for my 75 gallon tank I'm setting up right now for my 4 RBPs to get put into (right now they're juve in a 20 gallon until the end of the month).

I just found a Cascade 200 at my old house I was using for my dad's old 55g years ago... I want to stick it on my 40 Breeder for some extra filteration before I put a couple more fish in there.


How are these things? I was too young and naive to know what a good filter was. I even removed the Aquaclear my dad had on it because I thought it was "too old" because it didn't have the cartridge slots like the "new, better" filters... ... I have no idea what happened to it now, either.
