Any exporters from guyana looking for true ocellaris.

Exports from the Guiana Shield (Suriname, French Guiana, Guyana) is heavily restricted for multiple reasons- political, insufficient infrastructure, commercial restrictions, lack of preexisting industry since the 1900s, etc).
There's few people/companies with a permit/license and connections to import from the area in the US; larger wholesale retail operations like Carolina Aquatics and Segrest have brought in fish from the region before, as have smaller retail operations like Nationwide Aquatics and Aqua-Imports, but only sporadically. Unsure if there have been any commercial exports of wild ocellaris lately.

Thanks for the info I should contact segrest and Carolina aquatics And ask if its possible even if they tell me I would have to buy in bulk because im not a store but im willing to do it

Most rivers in the Guiana's are slightly to heavily acidic, with pH values between 4 and 6.5, black, very soft water.. low mineral content.
Fish species from those areas have evolved to live in those waters.
If you are receiving wild fish from those areas, be sure to try and match those pH values, low mineral content , and add tannins to your tanks, before you receive them.

I see thanks for the advice the ph levels was on my mind a few months ago because wild fish are not as hardy depending on the species. I had purchased 4 wild ocellaris from snooker a few years ago I should have brought more they were really green and I lost 2 it was my fault the ph had gotten too low

These I also got from snooker you can see the difference in these ocellaris then the previous one's my camera wasn't great but the other ones were more green and deep in coloration and the pectoral fins were yellow not red

Carolina only sells wholesale to physical brick-and-mortar retail stores, regardless of purchase-quantity. Same wit Segrest.
You're better off trying to work with a store that orders from them to try to figure something out, if you're set on going through them.

Is John still importing stuff? Haven't seen anyone mention him or seen any posts on Aquabid in a good few years.

I was he poped up on aqubid about 2 years ago then for the last 9 months or so he stopped posting his fish i got 4 from hin 2 year's ago but they died and when I emailed him for more he didn't have any and he just stopped posting
