Have had mine since about 4-1-12 and they went from being 1 1/2 inch to about 3 1/4 since then. I think that seems pretty fast....I could be wrong.....The only one that is not about that size is my albino....Who has not grown any in the last month. I also drop food in strategically as I have two bichirs to a tank and some other fish as well, that way everyone gets enough food.
