ANY FISH TV?

Yeah i wish there were shows like this.

i have been thinking of trying to do one myself for on C31 a community station...but well im currently pre occupied (oh and if i did make one i would want it to cover stuff like trout fish farms, etc too because i think its cool)

I did a search for "fish" on the TIVO, and I found a show called "Hunt for Big Fish"
Its a fishing show but they catch MF. The two shows it recorded so far was a two-part show on Wolf fish. In the intro they show them catching Cichla, TSN, RTC, i think i saw arapaima.
If your into fishing or even if your not, check it out. I got a season pass for this show now.

There was a show made here in the UK about 20 years ago -I used to watch it!- called "Fancy Fish" I think, and recently I've been wondering why there couldn't be a new one. I'm really interested in showing where the fish for our "hobby" (lifestyle?!!) come from. When you are sitting in your house in Scotland, it's freezing cold outside and pissing down with rain, it's really hard to imagine outdoor ponds and tanks full of tropical fish on a fish farm in Singapore, or catching wild Platys by hand in a Central American stream! Or watching wild Arowana catch their dinner in the Amazon basin!
Thats the sort of thing that would get the imagination going. Could be an expensive part of the show to shoot though!! Keep posting ideas - maybe we should move this thread to General Forums and get input from everyone.

im from the Philippines bro. there was also a show about two or three years ago, a weekly aquarium hobby show in the Asia News Channel, i think from Singapore called " Fins n Tail". sadly, they stopped after a few seasons. the topics were really cool, Arowanas of all varieties, cichlids, flower horns, rays....really enjoyed watching the show. plus DIY projects on tanks, filters, food preps. thats why i started this thread, wishing for shows like that which really helps hobbyists and entertaining too

I've always had the idea of turning an old T.V. into a tank . It would be great to open the cabinet and have a big Plec. sucking on the screen.

3 words...... THE FISH WHISPER. Training bad fish to be good and not pick on its tank mates.....lol j/k But i would love to see sum fish shows, or just sum more documentarys about fish and under water creatures. I havent seen one on in a long time till last night. it was called "free diver" on animal planet which was cool cuz she would dive all over and talk about fish and show BEAUTIFUL netural reefs and get close to them for sum great shots
