Maybe, there are always exceptions who are extraordinarily finicky eaters but I bet if you let it go hungry he wouldn't leave an injured fish in the tank, with a bit of starving you could probably convert him over to chopped food or even pellets quite easily. Although the older they get the harder it is to convert them I've never had that issue with any snakehead, all mine will eat anything. Even back when I fed live feeders, when offered they wouldn't hesitate to eat chopped food or pellets afterward.
