No I sold that one 2 weeks ago cuz it only ate feeders. These two eat shrimp. :)

I'm not an expert but according to what i've read about id'ing hydrolycus, those look like tats

please correct me with explanation

No, they are indeed two very stressed-out armatus. The gill plate colors, as well as the body shape indicate hydrolycus armatus over tatuaia, and this particular batch of armatus have a slight red/brown sheen to the tails.

If Calisucks gets better photographs, you should be able to see the orange coloring on the rear adipose. You can't really determine anything from the caudal fins, as they have seen better days. "Party in the boxes" for sure, Will. Thanks for the help, BTW.

i was trying to see contrast in the adipose and caudal fins but couldn't really tell from the pics. i can't tell from body shapes either so,.............. i need to get to know these guys better. only one way to do that,.......... get some huh?
