Hmm, is it too early for the cheek speckles to develop? I also wouldn't expect the black bar to go all the way through the tail for an orino? Get us an update in a few weeks! 
Check temp, params, and tank mates. His bass shouldn't be lying on the bottom.

His temp was at 83° the water params were in check he's running a auto drip system. Tank mates are a couple small silver dollars and two albino barbs. He also has a Rio meta I sent over to him to grow out for me and mine never lays on the bottom but his 3 will lay there for about an hour after feedings
