Any ideas for a tiny tank? (2-5 gallons)

puffer x2 ..but of your options ,I like bettas:popcorn:..btw ..nice looking nano
 
I agree with the cherry shrimp idea , I have a 2.5 gallon tank I turned into a fire red cherry shrimp breeding ground lol I started with three and now have like 20 or more lol just have a small heater and sponge filter in there with a piece of driftwood and java moss . Good luck

thanks bro! I definitely like the idea you suggested but I'd have to add a mossball or two just because shrimp look so awesome with them!

It's from my friend, I didn't pick the size. If I were buying a small tank I'd consider 10 gallons as minimum but he's giving it to me for free. I got all kinds of friends giving me tanks :)

Exactly! I wasn't even planning another tank until my 55 which is only a few months away but it came up unexpected so you know, a free tank is a free tank! Even if it was like one gallon I'd fill it with sand, add a few rocks a native plant and make it a lake nano-biotope

I guess the betta idea depends on who you ask. I still say a planted cherry shrimp tank ;)
