Any ideas for stocking 75 gallon with driftwood

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks guys put the tank together with stuff i already had. Its surprising how much stuff we accumulate with multiple set ups over years.

Open to some more ideas for some fish that would pop in this set up like the acaras

Barbs come to mind, or congo tetras. Nice colourful grouping fish

She considered congos but idk if we are going to keep it a SA tank.

She like longfin serpaes ....i think they would fit in nicely
Serpaes sound nice. If you want some cats maybe port hoplo cats could work? They grow to look very cool

I think she mentioned cories or some sort of synodontis catfish
Cories would be good but synos idk. My featherfin syno rarely comes out

Update.... this tank was sold since i was downsizing on my smaller set ups.....a 80 gallon frag was moved into its place which is 4x2x16...better footprint....background and driftwood will all be the same including inhabitants but will have diff sand.

Tank inhabitants will be

3 electric blue acaras around 3 inches
1 flagtail around 2.5 inches
1 red tail shark 3 inches
8 clown loaches 2 inches
6 red head tapajos 2 inches
6 congo tetras 2 inches

Filteration

Ehiem 2217 x2
75%wc weekly

Majority of these guys grow slow so ill have time to upgrade when needed

Nice thread with great ideas, and thanks for the final update.

That's why I love MFK.
