they do fine in planted tanks, the more amount of plants the better, becuase they are somewhat skittish while being introduced into aquaria. and it ease the stress.

some people like to add powerheads to there aquariums, to keep a good amount of water circualtion going and to keep the p's a bit more active, so you may want to try that., other than that you should be set.

No you can't...as slow growing as serras are they'll still get to 5-6" relatively quickly.

Uh yeah I've been there for the past 3 years. Why would you dose prazipro randomly if there haven't been any signs of parasites?
