You have to expect to spend for for the more rare cichlids to the hobby. You would have something that most of us can not talk about. Grab them. The more rare cichlid I have is the hogaboomorum.
JC09 and to all others...First let me tell you that I am selling the fish at $8 a piece. If they are selling you the fish for $16, they are doubling my price to sell to you. Anybody else that tells you they are breeding the fish domestically, I would like to see evidence of it...My site is cichlidsoftheamericas.com. Also, as a courtesy, if any pics are taken from my site, like the one on this post, I would appreciate if you gave credit as to where the pic came from.
Sorry if this post sounds strong, but it is quite upsetting when I have sold 25-30 counts of these fish at an inch to a couple of well known vendors, and one of them is claiming they bred it...I won't get into the logistics, but they know who they are.

It is very upsetting to me that you never made good on the fish you took from us at the 2008 ACA in Atlanta. You had the chance when you saw Dan Ye in Milwaukee last July to set things right. There is no honor among Thieves, your reputation is yours alone. The truth will set you free.....!

Who is breeding these fish...Don? Guess again, they come from me. Where is the proof...please show me. I would be happy to call Don with you and confirm this. If you have something to say, I sent you my cell phone. For the last time I did not steal your fish you offered me the fish and said you would call me up later to get some other fish from me when you get the chance.
Most people would not send you anything in return based on your 200 phone calls in a 10 day period at all hours of the day;this is not to mention your lack of professionalism and rude conduct. It's not too hard to not want to do business with you.
Regardless, I would be happy to send you a carpintis back or equal value for the fish as I have hundreds of these guys at various sizes. If you prefer a few bucks for the fish I am fine with that also.
As far as my reputation you seem to be the only one hung up on it. You really need to learn to lighten up, we sell fish in small circles, we are not solving world hunger.
