Any info on JEBAO Canister Filters?

Okay fellas.... need a couple of inexpensive canister filters and stumbled onto these on Ebay. They look like knock-off Ehiem filters...... any body have any info or experience with these Jebao's?

Been using one for nearly 3 years now and it does it's job nicely... the flow is alright and I can't really complain about the slight buzz it makes...

I have one, seems to get clogged faster than "the real deal" and the pump is not as strong. If you intend on having it pump a distance of more than 6' don't buy it.

Jebao foam media is dirt cheap compared to original Eheim Pro II. I buy their media to fill my Eheim 2028. Internal design is not identical to Eheim 2028 Pro II.

Here's something to throw in the mix..... buy this filter or but the actual Eheim Ecco 2232/2234. It's for a 40g. tank! Small application.

I would take my chances with the Jebao or a used XP3. The Ecco with media packed does not have enough head pressure. The Ecco would be more ideal for a 20-29 gallon rather than a 40.

Thank dude... Found some other filters on Craigslist.... Fluval 205? Need something that doesn't take up much room and I'm afraid the XP's are a bit tall.
