Any Info On Mantis Shrimp?

I was thinking of setting up a 10 gallon for a mantis shrimp and was just wondering what people around here thought about them and any info I could get.

yeah I agree with you. I'm upping it to a 30. I'd like a peacock mantis but not sure if it'd fit in a 30. Any ideas?

30g should be fine for a Peacock. Give him lots of rubble to redecorate with.

well I mean I do own a saltwater tank already, I know the basics, I was wondering about specific care for them.

peacock mantis needs at least a 20 gallon tank and no tank-mates and be very careful what you get from reefcentral.com as there is lots of bad information out there.

P.S. I would run a search on them and look to a book or a reputable aquarist that has them or kept one for a long time
