Any interest in Large celidochilus??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't know... whacking off in a jar and getting enough money for fish. What's the downside??

Nope it's for real. And these are fish he's had a long time and they eat pellets, I saw them in December. Ken

If I remember right, Vinny's website said they are very aggressive. Not sure if more than one would work out.

He has them all together, my two get along fine. They are like any pike, once they are stable you don't have problems, kept in groups they spread the aggression out. He sorts them by size so they don't eat each other and that's about it. I'm just trying to gage interest here to see if it's worth the outlay in cash. I don't need to spend all my money to get ten high dollar pikes if they are not going to sell, when I could get hundreds of Gymnogeophagus with the same money. Ken

Ken, have you or Felipe had any luck at breeding them?

Jamie

Unless Vinny has bred them, (which I don't think he has) no one has ever bred this fish in captivity. Ken
