Any Leopoldi breeding tips, beyond basics?

My male black is 3.5 yrs and the female blacks are both just under 3 yrs. The male has showed breeding behavior (tore up) with the largest female but she is either not ready or he hasnt figured out what to do yet.

Oh wow. Crazy. Was not really prepared for that. Adding the temperature fluctuation definitely seems like a good idea to me, thats clever, and exactly the kind of tip i was looking for, thanks! Keep em coming.

you grabbed that leo from dragon aquarium nice to see it went to a MUCH LARGER tank

Good eye! Yea she's a nice ray, coloured up much better already, but she is a bit skittish and doesn't eat as well as the other two yet. Maybe I can get some more spotting out of her. Couldn't pass her up as she was female and perfect size, good eye though man for sure.

I have a male p14 which is no more than 2.5yrs old. A p13xp14 female two years old. ..both bred by T1.
Also have a 2 yr female bd.

I have only seen the male chase the hybrid a few times and very recently the hybrid bit bitten semi bad on too of disc. Pretty sure its the male as I noticed the male had some stab wounds on the top.
Other than that no other noticable signs of breeding. The bd is so dominant I doubt the p14 will try to breed her soon.

in summary its just a waiting game. Could be this year ... the next year or in the future..

Not really bothered as I love keeping rays...and its a pleasure to see them grow and interact.

Im upping to 3 water changes a week now.. as im overstocked.
