I just had long hair. No mullet. My intention was to get a mullet but I wanted it "right" from the beginning so I thought I'd grow my hair and when I felt it was at proper length mulletize it. I just never cut it. I wore it in a pony tail mainly.
Any members here sported MULLETS in the not so distant past?

I used to have a flattop. I have a really square head, so it made it look even more like a box...
Born in the mid 80's in Alabama, of course I had a mullet! Up until was about 10 I rocked the mullet down to my shoulders with the top all spiked up and gelled. After that I went straigh to the uber cool bowl cup until I was about 12. Haha
Ok so as a Hair Designer, I feel it is my duty to somewhat defend the "mullet", since it is being bashed so often these days.
It's a cut I like to give people and I do often but it has to be done RIGHT!
