I just started shooting on an APA 9-ball team again, and was wondering if anyone else was playing league pool? If so what league And what is your skill level. I am currently a 7 and the highest skill level on our team which is a curse and a blessing at the same time. I haven't really shot a whole lot lately due to my 15 month old son but I missed it greatly And finally made the time and got the blessing from the wifey to start again.
 
I play a little at the bar I work at. Not as much as I used to. I'm currently a solid 4, could be an okay 6 or 7 if I stepped up my english and paid attention to where I placed the ball. Just don't have the passion.

8ball or 9ball? I have played both and am partial to 8ball. My 9ball team shoots tonight and we are in 1st place. I am actually leading the top gun award by 16 points this session, I have never won that before so I'm excited
 
I don't know what you're talking about with all the technical mumbo-jumbo but Mike and I play from time to time at the local watering hole. I was getting the hang of it for a bit but we haven't been playing lately and, well, don't use it, you lose it. He did a league last winter and his team pretty much got pounded, lol. He's a good player but all the other teams were like hardcore and his was just a couple guys from work. Said he'd never do that again. hahaha

I had fun though and would like to get back into it sometime when we have more time.

I'll play both, but in a bar, most are 8 ball people. So, when in Rome. Whereabouts in FL are you?
 
Hey Sumo! It's been a bit. Stopped in to sell my last fish tanks. Figured I'd swing into the Lounge and poke around a bit.
 
What you been up to? Did you join the forces like beex?
