go with african cichlids. This is the tank i set up at a doctors office and so far everyone loves it, and the fish are doing well:

If these fish dont get someone hooked none will

its not as empty as it looks by the way lol

Is this the tank you setup that also had cories mixed in with the mbuna??

I have never kept discus, don't care for them much. You might want to rephrase this question in the discus subforum in the cichlids section.
